Strengthening Activism and Skills Advancement in Kenya - SASA!
Mobile Movement is delighted to announce that we will be expanding to the Western and Central provinces of Kenya. Led by Winrock International and in partnership with the Kenya Professional Association of Women in Agriculture and the Environment, K-Rep Development Agency, and SSG Advisors, the initiative called Strengthening Activism and Skills Advancement ( SASA, meaning "Now!" in Kiswahili) is a youth livelihoods and social networking program to address employment and social issues facing Kenya's next generation. It is funded by USAID.
We are looking forward to working with more young people in Kenya.
Creative Storytelling
We capture innovation in economic development and community building around the world. The film we co-produced on young entrepreneurs in Yemen, in partnership with Interactive Filmmaking and Silatech, raised millions of dollars to support financial access for young Yemeni entrepreneurs - particularly young women.
We are continuing to film short pieces in Yemen in cooperation with Interactive Filmmaking and Silatech. Our next piece will be on Skills and Training Development - Watch for it.
