BROSIS - Brothers and Sisters Youth Group
Ask us about our business!
15
We are a small youth group comprised of 7 young women and 14 young men. We pool our resources together in order to uplift ourselves and support a school in our community. Right now, we make low cost charcoal briquettes for sale, using leftover charcoal bits and other debris. We make these by hand. BROSIS wants to purchase machines and start using sawdust to make properly formed briquettes that are still low cost but also environmentally friendly. We can get sawdust for free because there are a lot of carpentry projects in our community and right now the sawdust goes to waste. The machines will increase the number of briquettes we can make and therefore we can generate more income.

Hello Brosis,
My name is Lisa and I just did a fundraiser at my hair salon for Mobile Movement. I am very excited that you are moving to sustainable practices - ones that help the environment but also that this model is better for your health. Healthy earth, healthy people. I would love to see a picture of the sawdust briquettes once you are able to purchase machines. I wish you the very best.

I'm excited to see that the donations are growing... can't wait to see how things go once you get the machines. What is your group up to these days? I hear that you run a school, would you tell us a bit about that?
