In this video, one of our younger members, Cristabel Wangari performs a poem about a girl\'s right to education. There is also a montage of images of youth and children in the Nairobi slums set to music performed by MYTO members on their home-made instruments.

Hello Good people! This Patrick Ominde and am the field out reach cordinator for Mobile movement. All the projects that are on the site are impressive, each has its own challenges and to me its a learning day each day. Am so much impressed with What Mathare environmental conservation group is doing. The work for and with young people to provide studying space in the crowded and unplanned Mathare area and free tutorial service to youngsters in high school and primary school. coupled with the neighborhood clean ups and affordable entertainment at their social hall,its work that gives young people a sense of belonging in their neighborhood., not to mention the cordial relationship that exist between the group and the residents.

It has taken me a while to get back to you but I am very moved by the work that you. I run a hair dressing business in Vancouver called Storm Salon and we had a fundraiser with our clients to support Mobile Movement.

The social hall is really helpful in our community coz it creates space for the youths,especially the young children they now practise their talents in a nice floor and a bigger space and we as mathare environmental we are greatful and hope to continue surporting the young people of mathare.
